L'Auberge French Café

It is in a beautiful old church, loads of character. The staff and management are extremely friendly and always have time for a bit of chat and banter. Some delicious French style snacks and meals. Try it, you'll love it. And they now have a liquor licence!

This is an excellent little cafe with a beautiful renovation of the church and lots of nice little touches decorating the corners and nooks and crannys. The food is conventional French cafe style, the croque madam I had was one of the best I have tried and served with mustard and a side salad, good value for the price. The huge Open fire is great, and the mezzanine area is quieter and has reasonable sized tables. A great addition to Lilydale, can't wait till they start opening at night.
